PASQUALE LAROCCA. Inside and Outside Alaska. The first book published by MTS Edizioni in a second edition with a chapter written by the protagonist.
A contemporary adventure, a love story, and a journey through the protagonist’s life. Pasquale Larocca, a young man from Terranova Di Pollino in Basilicata with a passion for the mountains, a ski instructor, tour guide, and mountain rescue volunteer, reached the peaks of Alaska, driven by passion and tenacity.
From his first time skiing in the mountains of Basilicata, Pasquale has faced physical and mental challenges along the way. He risked losing his life at thirty degrees below zero but managed to overcome his insecurity, face the pain, and come to terms with his limitations. With the help of mentors and friends, he discovered the importance of support and sharing in achieving his goals.
His experiences in the mountains become a metaphor for the trials and inner changes he had to face to grow and discover his true essence.
PASQUALE LAROCCA. Inside and Outside Alaska recounts the important achievements of the protagonist. No one before him had ever managed to complete and win the Rovaniemi 150 in 2017, the IditaSport Alaska 270 in 2019, and the Rovaniemi 300 in 2020 (where he still holds the world record for the fastest time).
It is a story that deserves to be known for the positivity and vital energy it conveys. A message to be passed on. A previously unpublished chapter written by Pasquale Larocca himself makes this second edition unique, also available in Italian.
